Head of the Charles Regatta

The Head of the Charles Regatta has been one of the world’s largest and most esteemed two-day rowing competitions for more than 50 years. Over 30,000 spectators gather in the area to watch high school, college, and professional athletes compete in a variety of different rowing races.

Boston Calling Music Festival

This festival draws diverse musical acts, and was originally hosted twice a year. Nowadays, it’s held once yearly over Memorial Day weekend in the Harvard Athletic Complex. The festival features everything from indie rock to rap, and attracts 40,000 fans.

The Independent Film Festival Boston

The Irish Film Festival

Created by Boston Irish Film Festival Productions to promote awareness of Irish films and filmmakers, this yearly festival features four days of screenings at Somerville Theatre, less than a mile from our hotel.
